Suck in that gut, put down that slice of pizza (and grab a fistul of bacon instead) because inside the confines of Sash’s bedroom, two men will explore each other’s hardness and resolve, each other’s eating habits and get to right the bottom of the matter… of Marvel AAAAAAAAABS!

Part 2: In part 2 of this massive epic-sode, Sash and Ben talk AAAAAAAABS. Specially, the Marvel variety. You know, the shots that for no reason whatsoever, the lead male character in Marvel film has their shirt off. To show you their AAAAAAAABS. Leading up to their kick ass new Daredevil fan short, fellow PODfella Will laid out a challenge for Sash (the Man Who Would Be Daredevil). The challenge? Include a shot in the film with Sash – as Matt Murdock – shirtless. With AAAAAABS. Difficult? Very. Impossible? Maybe. Gay? Most definitely. In this unique episode, join Ben and Sash as they take you behind the scenes on those Marvel ab shots and discuss the kind of insane preparation actors do for their superhero roles. Ben also takes us through ketogenics, a form of nutritional dieting that can turn your body into a lean, mean, fat-melting machine! Will Sash be able to get the Marvel abs in time for the shoot? Or will he succumb to his arch nemesis: The dreaded Dr Carbo? Is it too gay to talk about abs in Sash’s bedroom? With just the two of them? And why did Sash insist on being pantless for this pod?
Join Sash and Ben as they disect these Special Editions, the changes, and this painstaking mission to preserve film history! Ready everybody? Pants off, headphones on, because it’s about to get hot, sweaty, uber geeky and all kinds of freaky up in here!

Part 1: A Long Time Ago, in a Galaxy Far, Far Away… George Lucas fulfilled a young filmmaker’s dream of taking the audience on an exciting adventure, an epic journey that would eventually span 3 films from 1977to 1983. In 1976 he was denied this dream by every major studio in Hollywood… all except one. And so history (and billions of dollars) was made, and his dream was made real. Decades later, with advances in computer generated imagery from his own ILM, he went back to his now classic films, and not only restored these movies, but altered, enhanced, and changed them. These would be known as the Special Editions – his new and final treatments of the films – made to replace the original films forever. Only… some of the changes were shit. Greedo now shot first. The Sarlacc now had a beak. Jabba’s Palace became the House of Bad Musical Numbers. Vader uttered NOOOOO when killing the Emperor. And Hayden “Woody” Christiansen replaced Sebastian Shaw as Anakin Skywalker as a force ghost (complete with creepy stalker smile). WHAT THE FUCK? Behold… the STAR WARS DESPECIALZED EDITION. A fan preservation effort to go back through time and undo all of the changes made to this Holiest of Trilogies and restore these films for future generations.
